Designwerk worked in close collaboration with the Laver Cup team over an extensive 16 month period to craft and cultivate a new brand – from essence to implementation.
Starting with the visual identity, Designwerk created a comprehensive brand platform to illustrate key aspects of the competition such as Europe vs the World.
All touchpoints of the Laver Cup were delivered from event graphics, marketing collateral, court furniture, hospitality areas, team zones, field of play, to wayfinding and more.

Core to the distinctive Laver Cup identity, Designwerk’s scope included designing and overseeing the construction of the Laver Cup trophy itself, incorporating key attributes of Rod Laver’s achievements. The result is an iconic piece that is a fitting tribute to Rod Laver’s legacy.
