Designwerk worked closely with world leading strength and fitness brand SBD Apparel to create a powerful brand identity and voice that reflects their products, athletes and work ethic. SBD originally stood for Squat, Bench, Deadlift; the three disciplines of competition powerlifting. With the business growing into other strength and fitness markets, the terms were less relevant.
We established the SBD mindset; a set of principles which inspire and connect. Strength, Belief, Determination. We increased brand equity with a more robust identity, giving the brand attitude and confidence with a sharp new graphic language. We created an authentic photography style to showcase the full story of an athletes routine as opposed to just the lift.
