CAF needed a trophy that truly celebrates every aspect of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
We worked closely with the team to create a trophy that harmonised tradition with progress and prestige. It’s a trophy that tells a story of the challenges, persistence and success that defines women’s football in Africa.
Diversity and representation.
Our design brings together traditional patterns from across the continent and engravings representing all 54 African nations.
The founding women’s teams are also engraved on the base, paying homage to the women and men who have strived for equality, diversity and representation in football. The result is a trophy that represents the past and celebrates the future of CAF Women’s Champions League.
